Pritisangam is a place in Karad where Krishna & Koyna river meet. There is also Samadhi of Late Yashwantrao Chavan who was first Chief Minister of Maharashtra. It is most popular visiting spot in Karad. There is a park for kids to play, jogging track for youth & old people. Rush hours are between 4 pm and 8 pm in evening. There are many cheap street food stalls, most famous being 'Cut Dosa' at Krishna Dosa center & 'Pavbhaji' at Swagat Pavbhaji center.
Horse riding & boat riding are also available. In morning pre-wedding shoots are done here. Two wheeler parking is easy,but difficult for four wheeler. You can come here via share rickshaw from Karad bus stand in 20 bucks per seat.
